I plugged the USB dongle (which, by the way, has a nice soft silicone feel to it) into the back of my PC, into an available USB port. 3. I pressed the power button on the headphones and put them on my head. 4. I went to the audio settings in Windows (Playback Devices) and chose the USB/wireless as the default device. 5. I pressed PLAY on my media player. 6. I was BLOWN AWAY by the quality of the sound, the ease with which it was installed and set up, and the comfort of the headphones. I used this on my Windows 7 laptopSetup was easy, just plug in the dongle. The media player controls are on the right earcup (not the left as the products webpage on amazon may say). There are a lot of cables that come with it, including a special one that is a coaxial power connector to USB for the charging of the device. There is a bag that you can use to store everything and the headphones fold up so you can stick them in your bag. The sound is very good - the headphones themselves don't seem to change the sound characteristics, so you can use the equalization on your PC to control the sound as the phones themselves block outside sound pretty well. The microphone part works well, too. The first set I got had a constant buzzing in the right earcup, no matter what I did or what system I used it with.
